A solitary life may appear, on the surface, to be tedious. It may not be filled with endless parties or a bevy of “best” friends, but solitude can be a place of great comfort and peace.
For some, solitude fosters a stronger connection with God; for others, it’s a place of refuge from life’s daily struggles. Ultimately, for some people, life is a journey they make mostly on their own.
This piece, “Interlude,” is about the experience of respite and a deeper connection with God during times of great solitude.
