The Inner Silence

5th October, 2024

What dreams will spring forth!
From the innermost silence,
Where the purest, most tender, care
Pierces, and separates from, unintelligible ramblings,
That present a façade of kinship and love,
(Felt neither keenly nor truly)
In such a masquerade of distasteful pleasantries.

In the inner silence of separation,
Where buttercups hold immaterial treasures,
And a genteel refinement floats delicately,
Within the intensely sweet scent trails of viburnum’s Dawn,
There can be nothing but an outpouring and acceptance,
Of iridescent emotions rich and unburdened,
Where the dreams of memories past and in suspension,
Enliven the boldness of a question that dares,
To believe, to trust and to live in cascading harmonies,
That sing earnestly of a reality standing unrivalled,
In a truth that is deeply reflective of a clarifying Presence.

Linger not wholly in the quagmires of the duplicitous, dearest heart, but manoeuvre deftly through the insincerity, for far beyond are unspoiled lands, steeped in the mellow glow of a soothing gladness where a full heart can reside in acknowledgement and acceptance.

Sincerely in understanding,
SC
